Renjirou has started a new job working as a night watchman at a factory, when suddenly he catches Tsuyuko sneaking into the factory. Rather than handing her into the authorities he takes her home with him, and they begin their life together. However, Tsuyuko's exhibitionist tendencies may be a little more than Renjirou can handle.
Directed by Hitoshi Ishikawa, Nugi-nugi panic: Nugitai onna leans on a strong ensemble — Cocona Asakura, Ayumi Kimito, Yukino Nagasawa — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 2023.
