Desdemona, a troubled DJ, hosts a late-night radio show called “L'insonne”. Her listeners are often strange creatures of the night who share their stories and fears. This time, however, she receives a call from Luca, a child in a hospital room. Desdemona senses the shadow of worry in his voice, and her instinct is to investigate, because sometimes even a whisper can hide a terrifying case.
Directed by Alessandro Giordani, L'insonne ouverture leans on a strong ensemble — Chiara Gensini, Francesco Montanari, Giulio Pampiglione — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
