La Última Memoria

Mamina, a mother suffering from Alzheimer's, is in the final stages of her life. The disease has destroyed her short-term memory, a significant portion of her motor skills, and all but one remaining memory: her time with her daughter, Daniela. Throughout the film, we see the real-world effects of Alzheimer's through the perspective of someone living with the disease, as well as the desperation she faces to hold on to the last thing that makes her feel safe—her memories.

Directed by Felipe Carlos Barandiaran, La Última Memoria leans on a strong ensemble — Mireya Kilmon, Camila Arteche, Carla Valdes — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 2025.
