About Brothers in Blood
Two brothers accept to marry their sister Maryam to their friend Hassan. But she is in love with another guy Hashem who is away. In her wedding night she lies to the groom and escapes to Hashem's mother house. The older brother gets her divorce from Hassan and goes after her to find her. On the other hand Hashem is back but with a wife. This put them all to confront each other.
Directed by Kamran Ghadakchian, Brothers in Blood leans on a strong ensemble — Bahman Mofid, Shahnaz Tehrani, Morteza Aghili — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 1975.
