About Whispers of the Waves
Whispers Of The Waves is a supernatural kidnapping story featuring Jacob and Andrew who set off to the Belgian beaches of De Panne and get kidnapped by a mysterious man called Albert. Albert lives in a big mansion near the sea and writes a book. The teenagers he kidnapped become the characters of his book. Albert gives them a seashell that will torment Jacob and Andrew throughout the story.
Directed by Cyril Vrancken, Alec Vrancken, Whispers of the Waves leans on a strong ensemble — David Foques, Stan Verwilghen, Alec Vrancken — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
