Forte

Young composer Yeonji lands her dream job at the prestigious and isolated Forte Studio that soon reveals itself as an unsettling work environment because of the eerie atmosphere around there and odd behaviors from her colleagues and boss. But Yeonji’s fierce ambition doesn’t allow her to give up and, when she realizes that her boss uses her as a mere ghostwriter, the competitive spirit between the two arises until it escalates into a matter of life and death.

Directed by Kimbo Kim, Forte leans on a strong ensemble — Leem Chae-young, Lee Jung-eun, Kim Jae-hong — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about thriller titles of 2025.
