About The Lordless Ring
A dancer meets the man she has been looking for. Their lives are turned upside down when her boyfriend becomes addicted to gambling. After playing all night and not getting enough sleep, Manlai gets into a car accident and she thinks he is dead. The inspector who was investigating the accident falls in love with the girl. While the girl continues to think that her boyfriend's ghost is following her, her boyfriend survived the accident. The movie ends with the inspector confessing his love to her as the dancer receives her award, and the guy she loves comes back with a sad face.
Directed by Batbayar Chuluunbat, The Lordless Ring leans on a strong ensemble — Bold-Erdene Sugar, Dolgor Oinbayar, Lkhagva Dashsambuu — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 2010.
