About Onna bôkôma baibu-zeme
Ritsuko, who works at a credit union, becomes close to her boss, Murashima, and gives in to him. Later, she is found out to have embezzled public funds for him, and is fired, but Murashima's attitude towards her is cold. Ritsuko joins a dating club and starts selling her body. During her days of SM and vibrating, she becomes close with a customer, Takagi. One day, she meets her old colleague, Hiromi, and when she finds out that Hiromi has married Murashima, she teams up with Takagi to kidnap her and take the ransom from Murashima.
Directed by Shinichi Kawamura, Onna bôkôma baibu-zeme leans on a strong ensemble — Anri Inoue, Ryou Kurihara, Miki Hirose — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 1990.
