75 years old Hamlet is the head of a big Armenian family. He lives alone and every year he cooks a traditional Armenian dish Harisa for his anniversary. And this time he cooked Harisa and is waiting for the children to visit. Finally, the family is assembled, toasts are sounded, but grandfather has planned the unexpected - something that everyone knows about, but no one believes in.
Directed by Hasmik Movsisyan, Harisa leans on a strong ensemble — Ruben Simonov, Khoren Matevosyan, Inga Khachatryan — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 2025.
