About The Eastern Woman
Amal is a pretty girl who works for a lady in her big house and is in a relationship with Walid, but she suffers as people misjudge her because of her beauty, harassing her and believing that she would be easy prey. Although her employer insists that she entertain her guests, Amal can't quit as she desperately needs her job.
Directed by Mohammed Al-Shaheen, The Eastern Woman leans on a strong ensemble — Ighraa, Ghada ElShamaa, Hala Shawkat — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
