The story takes place after the end of World War II and the economy is booming again for Augustsson's Sausage Factory, mainly thanks to the smash hit - the Pepparkorven with the secret recipe. Julius is delighted with the success, while local sausage competitor Ejdar Kulvert is less pleased, but at the same time curious.
Directed by Niklas Holtne, Korvfabrikören leans on a strong ensemble — Claes Malmberg, Jojje Jönsson, Jeanette Capocci — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 2024.
