About Mom and Dad
A couple lives a normal family life with their two children, but their lives are suddenly turned upside down after they swap physical roles, where the wife becomes a man and the husband becomes a woman. Because of this, they find themselves in many funny situations and comedic ironies, and they discover different aspects of their marital relationship and the role of each of them in it, while trying to find a way to restore things to their original state.
Directed by Ahmed El Keiy, Mom and Dad leans on a strong ensemble — Mohamed Abdel Rahman, Yasmine Raeis, Weaam Magdy — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 2025.
