The Unspoken

In the summer of 1969, an unspeakable crime was committed in the small oil two of Black Diamond. The culprit was never caught. Twenty-fives years later, the town is being torn apart by two feuding oil barons. A young journalist enters the scene. He digs into the town's terrible past and promising to set the town aflame.

Directed by Tjardus Greidanus, The Unspoken leans on a strong ensemble — anne-marie lamonde, Tjardus Greidanus, Andy Maton — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about thriller titles of 1997.
