About Paper Flowers
Lica, a woman with sight problems, gets a job at a company that makes paper flowers. After the sudden death of her father, she has to look after her brother and sister. However, soon after the funeral, her stepmother kicks the children out and Lica decides to live temporarily in her dead grandmother's house.
Directed by Vladimir Kharchenko-Kulikovsky, Paper Flowers leans on a strong ensemble — Alexander Pashkov, Anna Vasileva, Vitaly Ivanchenko — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
