Mom and Dad are Gods

In a clash of distant centuries and cultures, two children from the 7th century awaken inside a mystical cave from a thousand-year slumber into the chaotic 21st century. Along with them, two ancient Slavic gods rise, incarnating themselves as the parents of Petr and Simona, siblings from the 21st century, leading to countless entertaining adventures in which the four children join forces and bridge the gap between old and new times, cultures, and customs to save the souls of their parents, who are currently unbearably divine.

Directed by Adam Hobzik, Jan Chramosta, Mom and Dad are Gods leans on a strong ensemble — Vica Kerekes, Petr Lněnička, Jakub Jenčík — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about adventure titles of 2026.
