Reeanactment

Anka ends up at a historical reenactment camp thanks to her boyfriend. She tries to find her place in the community, but it turns out that historical prejudices against women are surprisingly current. The camp participants are dedicated to playing roles from the past, but at the same time, there is a modern social game going on between them.

Directed by Marcin Strauchold, Reeanactment leans on a strong ensemble — Ludwika Gołaszewska-Siwiak, Magdalena Celmer, Tomasz Wóltański — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 2025.
