Boca de asno

In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, Ximena wakes up feeling very hungry. Once again, her actions repeat themselves as if it were a bad joke. She spends another Groundhog Day, until a small detail changes everything: she has to take an old frying pan to the recycling center.

Directed by Carlos Calvar Tomé, Boca de asno leans on a strong ensemble — Lidia Veiga, Denís Gómez, Adrián Outeda — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 2025.
