Evil mayor Mr. Mayor and his mistress Emily want to start a war between the ranchers and peaceful Bukkake natives that live in the forest by the riverside. In order to challenge the natives, they incite the rancher Bob McAllister to attack and dishonor the daughter of the big chief Long Banana.
Directed by Jurica Hižak, Long Banana leans on a strong ensemble — Marko Denac, Marko Zorko, Tomislav Šipek — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about western titles of 2011.
