About A Dentist's Abnormal Love
Seiichi is a dentist in an office district. He has two assistants, Yuko and Tomo. Seiichi is unfriendly with male patients, but when a female patient comes, his eyes take on an unusual light, and he collects the teeth of patients he has extracted at home. Seiichi believes that each tooth has its own personality, and he has even won teeth at auctions.
Directed by Yukinori Kurokawa, A Dentist's Abnormal Love leans on a strong ensemble — Yuria Tachiki, Hotaru, Minami Aiyama — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 2010.
