Harue, the owner of an antique shop, is asked by an apprentice painter to sell a painting his late husband had done of him, but since he can't sell it, he ends up acting as a model. Akiko, the head of a tea ceremony school, is approached by her apprentice Matsutoya one day and decides to give him advice on sex. Natsumi becomes the second wife of a snack bar owner, but his son is her ex-girlfriend. She can't stop him from going wild... An omnibus collection of beautiful women in kimono! Includes three works with themes of widows, married women, and stepmothers.
Directed by Kenji Hanyû, Wafuku jukujo no seiseikatsu: Nijû sanjû yonjussai leans on a strong ensemble — Mayuko Sasaki, Taishi Takemoto, Minami Ami — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
