About Egg Delivery Man : Attack on Keishicho
You-chan is a young man who delivers eggs from Tochigi Prefecture to Tokyo's city center, and he is an avid fan of yakuza movies. One day, he encounters an escaped prisoner during deliveries and becomes friends with him. Detective Arabuka shoots the man dead, and You-chan is arrested for obstruction of justice. After three days in jail, he becomes a member of the dead prisoner's organization.
Directed by Temujin Hijikata, Egg Delivery Man : Attack on Keishicho leans on a strong ensemble — Yōichi Iijima, Shigechika Satō, Komimasa Tanaka — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 1975.
