Halfway Down the Street

Antonio, a young punk musician from Huancayo, in the Peruvian Andes, is forced to reunite with his estranged father Pedro, a traditional folk saxophonist. As tensions rise and old wounds resurface, the two must navigate their differences in hopes of discovering a second chance for their family.

Directed by Eduardo Orcada Villalva, Halfway Down the Street leans on a strong ensemble — Arnold Carlos Styp Torres Rojas, Fernando Bacilio, Sylvia Majo — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
