
While Prince's new album keeps getting postponed, the pop star is extensively touring (under the title Hit And Run Part II). On Sunday evening, he performed for the first time in the Ziggo Dome, where he delivered a world-class show. Many concertgoers were dressed in lilac and purple, as requested by the dress code. During these Hits shows, Prince is accompanied by his backing band 3rdeyegirl, consisting of guitarist Donna Grantis, bassist Ida Nielsen, and drummer Hannah Welton-Ford, along with three additional musicians. Still, it's Prince who stands at the center of attention and steals the show. Right from the start of the concert, with a powerful version of the 1980s hit Let's Go Crazy, Prince played the showman he has always been. Interacting with the audience, striking poses with his guitar, and singing expressively—the 17,000 concertgoers saw Prince in top form in Amsterdam.
