Anetta

A new cook, an elderly woman, arrived on the fishing vessel. The sailors, who had expected to see a young woman, were disappointed, but her care for the crew and her kind smile eventually won everyone over. The guys started calling her "mommy." One day, Anetta saw a "seasoned sailor" mocking the young first mate. Anetta was outraged and left the ship. Her actions made the crew see themselves in a different light.

Directed by Georgiy Shmovanov, Anetta leans on a strong ensemble — Vera Altayskaya, Viktor Pimenov, Valerii Panarin — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
