About Chimenea del Crimen
After his father's death, Claudio returns to the neighborhood after many years. There, he meets a friend from his childhood, who proposes renting the old house he inherited, which housed the family's small business, to use as a warehouse for illegal merchandise. Claudio soon discovers that this partnership will get him into serious trouble, although he won't be able to undo the deal so easily.
Directed by Ernesto Aguilar, Chimenea del Crimen leans on a strong ensemble — Germán Rade, Daniel Silveira, Federico Dayan — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about thriller titles of 2021.
