About Heliography of Memories
Quiet and emotionally reserved, Jonghan seeks out his late father's old friend, a photography professor, and begins learning how to take pictures. Meanwhile, Siyeon, a former artist who abandoned her creative life, stumbles upon a gallery and confronts an idealized version of her past self. Wandering through ruins and a desolate city with his camera, Jonghan meets Minsu, a mysterious young man, and is forced to face his own pain.
Directed by Youk Do-yoon, Heliography of Memories leans on a strong ensemble — Chun Yong-wu, Lee Sun-Jung, Kim Byung-tak — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 2025.
