Quarantine

A wealthy young man, Soheil, spends his days in luxury until a car accident changes everything. Rescued by a girl named Somayeh, he quickly falls in love and pursues her despite her resistance. His father strongly opposes their relationship, believing she only seeks his money. When Soheil learns Somayeh has leukemia with little time left, he must fight for love against family and fate.

Directed by Manouchehr Hadi, Quarantine leans on a strong ensemble — Hamid Goodarzi, niusha zeyghami, Reza Rouygari — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 2008.
