The Man Goes to Therapy

A girl approaches Noah at a bar, but because of his anxiety to talk to girls he is not able to talk to her. Noah decides that he needs to do something about his fears, and joins a group therapy session. When he arrives at the session only the therapist is there, but slowly and steadily the other group members arrive. With a twist of fate all of the other members are females. Noah has a small breakdown, but the therapist is able to take care of it. As the time goes by for the session Noah gets better at facing his anxiety. By the end of the session, he is not able to talk to girls properly but at the least he is able to be in their presence.

Directed by Abhay Garg, The Man Goes to Therapy leans on a strong ensemble — Alex Carmine, Tony Blass, Mikhaela Bernal-Tent — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 2023.
