
The gala Victory of Justice, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, was held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. With the theme of “Remembering History, Honoring the Martyrs, Cherishing Peace, and Building the Future,” the gala took the major historical milestones and scenes of the Eastern Front of the World Anti-Fascist War as its main thread. It highlighted the role of the Communist Party of China as the pillar of strength in the national war of resistance, paid solemn tribute to the revolutionary martyrs who fought heroically in the war, fully demonstrated China’s firm commitment to safeguarding world peace and security, and proclaimed the eternal truth that justice will prevail, peace will prevail, and the people will prevail.
Directed by Zhou Liya, Han Zhen, 纪念中国人民抗日战争暨世界反法西斯战争胜利80周年文艺晚会 leans on a strong ensemble — Luo Jin, Liu Haoran, Wu Yue — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about music titles of 2025.
