About Kuro shitagi no midara na sasoi
Miki, a university graduate job-hunting, was troubled by the sexual harassment she faced at interview after interview. One day, she was physically assaulted by Yamagata at K Publishing. A year later, after landing a job at a small erotic book publisher, she coincidentally reunites with Yamagata. But he didn't remember her at all. With the help of Sapphire, a dominatrix she met through work, Miki plots her revenge against Yamagata. She lures him out and humiliates him.
Directed by Tarō Araki, Kuro shitagi no midara na sasoi leans on a strong ensemble — Ayumu Tokitô, Seiji Nakamitsu, Kyôko Kazama — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 2000.
