What seems like a routine task turns out to be much more difficult, especially when a veterinarian, a butcher, and a prostitute get involved in the story. It sounds like the beginning of a joke, but the matter is very serious. After all, this is a story about cancer.
Directed by Luka Štigl, Happy Day of the Dead leans on a strong ensemble — Tim Lončar, Filip Đurić, Gregor Gruden — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
