there’s always something missing (especially when you don’t know what to look for)

Abraham finishes a concert in front of an almost empty venue. As he’s packing up his equipment, a woman calls out to him: he’s forgotten something on stage. Unfortunately, Abraham doesn’t see what she’s talking about and the stage is empty. Thus begins a strange nocturnal wandering in search of that something.

Directed by Paul Rigoux, there’s always something missing (especially when you don’t know what to look for) leans on a strong ensemble — Abraham Wapler, Clara Pacini, Yanis Rehaiem — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 2025.
