After many years working for a multinational company, Hugo Vaca is laid off and must face the harsh reality of the job market. On the verge of despair, he connects through a friend with a group of investors who offer to buy his house, valued at one million dollars, at 50 percent of its value, but with usufruct rights until his death. Cornered by reality, he accepts the deal, but things end up becoming much more complicated than he expected.

Directed by Gustavo Triviño, La casa leans on a strong ensemble — Diego Peretti, César Troncoso, Fabián Arenillas — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 2025.
