In year 2095, Earth experienced a catastrophic storm that left the world in a state of despair. A group of survivors have managed to gather and form a battalion (called Janisari), entrusted to retrieve a relic from a sacred place in order to restore the Earth back to stability. Corporal Ezir, the mission's sole survivor was retrieved by Sergeant Gan in the effort to secure the relic back to the Base Camp. Conflict takes place as the journey back to the base took a wrong turn, when a desperate situation reveals the worst in human nature.

Directed by Ezmeer Rahman, Putus leans on a strong ensemble — Beto Kusyairy, Yus Murai, Lee Tze Ling — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about science fiction titles of 2015.
