Détaché

Vasil, 26, has been working in France in the construction industry for several years; his wife and child have remained in Romania. Together with Nino, his boss, and Dafina, they form a particularly close-knit and efficient team on construction sites. However, deep down, Vasil has decided that today will be his last day in exile.

Directed by Olivier Poisson, Julien Lilti, Détaché leans on a strong ensemble — Liviu Bora, Bellamine Abdelmalek, Nathanaël Rutter — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 2025.
