Following an abrupt breakup with her long-term boyfriend Justin, Amber finds a splinter buried in her hand. The wound soon becomes infected and swollen, evolving into Hand—a persistent and painful presence that grows increasingly grotesque. Deciding to ignore it, Amber fixates on the stains Justin left on the carpet over the course of their relationship. As her obsession intensifies, so does the seriousness of her infection.

Directed by Jennifer Winterbotham, Hand leans on a strong ensemble — Sharlene Cruz, Dario Vazquez, Emma Ramos — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
