Bill James is still a child when his father, Jesse James, is killed by his cousin Bob. Twenty years later, now with his father's image, his face causes him much trouble, because nobody can forgive him for looking like the man who, for so many years, had been the terror of the whole countryside.
Directed by Antonio del Amo, Jesse James' Kid leans on a strong ensemble — Claudio Undari, Mercedes Alonso, Adrian Hoven — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about western titles of 1965.
