Consagración

On the third anniversary of their relationship, Carlos and Sara return to the Lebu overlook, the place where they first met. Their relationship is in crisis; an exhausting routine and constant conflicts have slowly taken over their lives. Determined to rekindle what they once had, Carlos surprises Sara with a marriage proposal. Her answer, however, is not what he expects.

Directed by Sebastian Gonzalez Mendez, Consagración leans on a strong ensemble — Valentina Acuña, Juan Carlos Maldonado — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 2023.
