Shark Week 2017

Fathom Events and Discovery Channel are partnering to bring a premiere event, Discovery's Shark Week at the Movies, to select movie theatres for a one-night event on July 18. America's favorite week of television, "Shark Week," makes waves in movie theaters nationwide for a one-night event this summer. The exclusive event features an episode from 2016, "Return of the Monster Mako" and a special episode from 2017, "Return to Isle of Jaws" ahead of its television debut on Discovery Channel.

Directed by Brian Armstrong, Shark Week 2017 leans on a strong ensemble — Devon Massyn, Matt Ajemain, Jim Cummings — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 2017.
