A TV movie about the lives of two tenants who differ in the way they look at life. After the announcement of a new tenant, the monotony of life in one apartment changed. An old tenant who is calm and withdrawn will have to get used to a new, noisier and more outgoing tenant.
Directed by Branko Pleša, The Advertisement leans on a strong ensemble — Dubravka Perić, Stevo Žigon, Danilo 'Bata' Stojković — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about tv movie titles of 1974.
