Love, nervousness, intimacy, fears, and immense joy came together in a one-of-a-kind television special. It showed the preparations at her home in Buenos Aires, including setting up the nursery and celebrating a baby shower with her family and friends; her trip to the United States; the organization of her life in Miami while waiting for news about the birth; the nerves leading up to the big day; and, finally, the long-awaited meeting with her baby and their first moments together.

Directed by Martín Kweller, Mother Luciana leans on a strong ensemble — Luciana Salazar, Matilda Salazar, Camila Salazar — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about adventure titles of 2017.
