A man in a car is on his way to the woods. When he arrives at his destination, he pulls a half-dead unconscious girl out of the trunk. He takes her deeper into the forest where he begins to dig a grave. While digging the grave, he finishes her off. However, someone is watching him.
Directed by Tomaž Gorkič, Chain of Flesh leans on a strong ensemble — Anton Antolek, Andreja Vezovnik, Luka Alič — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about horror titles of 2010.
