
After many years of actively avoiding her family, Mariia finally decides to pay them a visit, seemingly to celebrate her grandmother's jubilee. However, her intentions might not be as wholesome as it seems, as the true nature of her visit lies in the fact that the birthday girl decided to grant Mariia the ownership over her home. Mariia's uncle Grygorii learns of this and decides to engage in a turf war with his niece, hoping that this will result in the latter changing her mind. However, the young entrepeneur is a tougher nut to crack than it initially looks.
Directed by Andrii Chereshnya, Kin leans on a strong ensemble — Nazar Zadniprovskyi, Iryna Mak, Vira Kobzar — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 2026.
