SAKANAQUARIUM 2025 "Kaiju"

This film is a compilation of the additional performance at K Arena Yokohama in Kanagawa, which was the final performance of sakanaction's nationwide tour, "SAKANAQUARIUM 2025 "KAIJU"." The song which also serves as the tour title, is the band's first new song in about three years. Immediately after its release, it dominated the top of music charts and became a huge hit. The concert will be directed by video director Yusuke Tanaka, who has worked on many of sakanaction's music videos and live performances. The stage was completely white, with the members lined up in a row, their costumes, the floor, and the back of the stage all in white. A huge LED monitor, the same size as the floor the members were standing on, was suspended above the stage, projecting a video on the theme of "Kaiju" with a single man as the protagonist, which progressed simultaneously with the live performance.

Directed by Yusuke Tanaka, SAKANAQUARIUM 2025 "Kaiju" leans on a strong ensemble — Ichiro Yamaguchi, Motoharu Iwadera, Keiichi Ejima — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about music titles of 2026.
