About The Gift of Miloje
Milojev Dar is a feature film based on a true event about the hero of the Second Balkan War, Miloje Nikolic. The drama takes place in 1913, after the captain of another unit got wounded. Even though he was wounded himself and unable to participate in the battle, Miloje decided to commit another heroic act-to donate part of his skin for the wounded captain.
Directed by Branka Bešević Gajić, The Gift of Miloje leans on a strong ensemble — Vladimir Jocović, Ivan Vučković, Jelena Vukićević — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 2022.
