Ok Mom

A mom in a mid-life crisis and a teenager in a coming-of-age crisis go on a quirky road trip together and take the cruise control off their lives. This is a story about a fed up mother who sets out in the middle of the night to try to recapture her youth. But she’s forced to confront the truth about why she’s idealizing her past when she ends up on a road trip in the middle of the night with a troubled teenage girl headed down a path she knows too well.

Directed by Eric W. Phillips, Ok Mom leans on a strong ensemble — Taylor Dearden, Elizabeth Golden — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 2025.
