The Golden Monkey

In an archival beach recording, a brother and sister enter Gvozden’s dream, which quickly turns into a nightmare when an ordinary thief reveals its demonic face. While trying to escape the beach, Gvozden loses his sister and confronts the golden monkey in the forest portable toilet, loses control over reality, and ultimately transforms into a demonic thief himself.

Directed by Petar Pešut, The Golden Monkey leans on a strong ensemble — Aleksandar Sarapa, Darija Vučko — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
