Black Easter is based on the famous legend of a bride that was killed on her wedding night. The ghostly bride also known as "Resurrection Mary" hitchhikes and kills everyone in her path on each anniversary of that fateful night.
Directed by Bruce G. Hallenbeck, Black Easter leans on a strong ensemble — Debbie Rochon, Veronica Carlson, Jeff Kirkendall — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about horror titles of 1994.
