Riakoi First Love

Twenty-seven-year-old Sawako Okazaki works for an event-planning company and finds purpose in supporting her favorite idol, Kaisei Komaki. When her employer signs him and staff compete for the chance to manage his events, Sawako throws herself into the opportunity. Her admiration gradually becomes real love, but a woman claiming to be Kaisei’s girlfriend and harassment inside and outside the company shake her confidence. As Kaisei begins to trust her, he suddenly disappears. Sawako must overcome the setbacks and discover whether her devotion can become a genuine romance.

Directed by Tomoyuki Kamimura, Riakoi First Love leans on a strong ensemble — Chihiro Okutani, 関谷瑠紀, Hiroaki Kawatsure — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about romance titles of 2026.
