Cenduai

This story is about the superstitious practice of using cenduai love oil which can make the face of the person who uses it become beautiful. Chalit was born with physical and facial deformities. The disability is believed to stem from a curse on his mother's lineage that has lasted for centuries. Midwife Esah is threatened to keep this condition secret.
